Songs and their meaning

Hello everyone! I just wanted to give y'all a quick up date. We've gotten two brand new songs down pat, and hopefully next week we will be visiting the recording studio.

Both new songs have an incredible meaning to me. The fourth one, Death to Him, was inspired by someone I used to be friends with. He was fun to be around and I really cared for him, but he was terribly controlling and temperamental. He would call me up screaming at me for not listening to him, but five minutes later after his rage was calmed, he would be happy and we'd hug and make up. This would happen every other day often over simple things that really didn't matter. He also had a hard time accepting his own opinions and thoughts. He had to have the input of his friends before he could make a decision. And generally the opinions of the friends weren't to his benefit or the bands, only theirs. So when him and I parted ways, I wrote Death to Him as a farewell to him.

The fifth song on our list, Shoah Ugevarah(Holocaust and Jewish Heroism) came from seeing a picture of Hitler. Someone had commented saying how great he was, and my heart became enraged. This man had killed millions of people because of their religion or race, and he was considered to be great? From my anger I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and started dabbling my thoughts down. In the beginning of the lyrics I wrote the song as if I was in hiding during World War II. At the very end of the fear changes into courage and the lyrics let the world know that I'll proudly wear the Jewish Star and stand up for my beliefs. That we should join as one and not bow down to hate and ignorance. That the world can kill us but they can not kill our spirit.

This past weekend Zak and I attended Akon 22! Akon is an anime convention in downtown Dallas, Tx. It was a lot of fun. We spent all day Sunday passing out sticky notes with our band name on it to anyone willing to check us out and listen. And it worked! We've gotten a lot of new listeners, and a TON of new likes! We'd also love to thank Cary Chaoss because she has been asking a lot of her friends to check us out, and we can not thank each and every one of you enough for taking the time to look and listen! <3
